Description

False teaching on human sexuality and identity has been the Trojan horse used by the Enemy of Souls to destroy the Western Church.
It is inconceivable how quickly this has happened.
The ark (the church) has allowed the sea (the spirit of the age) into the vessel, and it is sinking fast.
Scripture and church history show that persecution does not destroy the church, but false teaching always does.
Humanly speaking, the church is on the verge of annihilation. This happened
when Paul was about to be martyred and faced mass desertion.
It happened again when the Roman Empire collapsed.
Steve Donald uses his forty-year experience of the Church of England to show how this is happening again.
Writers such as Carl Truman warn that the Church must wake up to the seriousness of the situation, hold on to its credal beliefs based on the Scriptures and build arks of community.

‘The Church of England is living through perilous times, caused in part by tectonic shifts in popular culture and in part by lack of a clear direction in the Church itself.
In this clarion call to action, Steve Donald outlines the process by which we have arrived at the current crisis and issues a stark warning that we must wake up and fight back with all the spiritual weapons at our disposal.
He shows us that we must be faithful to Christ, obedient to his Word and clear in our convictions.
We must love our enemies by declaring the truth and urging them to repent before it is too late.
What nobody could have imagined half a century ago has now happened,
and there is no time to waste.
This book is a much-needed wake -up call to faithful Christians everywhere and a sign that God is stirring up new life among the embers
of a dying society.’
